AN URBAN MAMA'S TAKE ON NURTURING HER FAMILY

Cleaning House

Mentally, emotionally, spiritually, energetically, socially, blogally, I'm cleaning house. Here are two important items I need to address:

* I apologize to you dear wonderful Montessori Mama who tagged me on March 17th. The truth is, I do not like memes, but I adore your blog.

* I deleted two of my other blogs, Million Dollar Mama, and Feed Hungry Kids Project. Though both were of interest, somewhat imporant to me, right now, I have to limit my distractions in order to complete my book and life goals.

* I spent almost $11 dollars at Goodwill today. Unbeknownst to me, it was one of those special 50% off days. Thank you Goodwill for the wonderful clothing, shoes and edu fun things I picked up for my family today.

Gotta run, my morning cup of coffee (yes, it's 2:33pm) is getting even colder ;-)

don't you just love half-off days at goodwill?! :^)

Lori you picked the exact emotion I am feeling ‘love’; I absolutely LOVE/am in awe/humbled by half days off at goodwill.

Good work on the 1/2 off day. The prices are already good, but 1/2 off day is like winning the lottery!

Can you tell me more about your book?

Spending a mere $11 in lieu of approx $500 is a win fall!

My vegetarian cookbook is inspired by my love of cooking with my children and the kids I give classes to. It's like The Joy of Cooking, but the one the kids ALWAYS reach for. Good for ages 12 months and up.

I really like how you are sharing bits and pieces of your book and chronicling your writing process on your blog. Is your cookbook going to be focused on cooking with children?
We sent your package out today, hope you all enjoy it!

Scratch that last part--I feel like an idiot. I thought I was on my swap partners blog for some reason.
