My Pantry 10 - MPT

It's obvious from your caring and delicious comments that we all care about nurturing our families, we love good food, and we all love to cook for ourselves and our families, but sometimes it appears 'there's nothing in the cupboards'.

From this day forward I dare us to re-frame, and always have our MPT on hand. Having our pantries well stocked can turn a greasy-desperate-call-for-take-out night into a memorable-healthy-homecooked meal.

My Pantry 10 are:

* active dry yeast
* sea salt
* olive oil
* can(s) crushed tomatoes
* flour
* pasta
* brown rice
* garlic
* onions
* can or dried beans (for soups/chili/hummus/salad/or raw for munching/topping)

What are your MPT?

I keep thinking of more... olive oil, garlic, cinnamon...

I'm back to say what we had for dinner tonight.

Jake had hot dogs, cantaloupe, baked beans, and chocolate covered sunflower seed cookies for dessert.

Me and the kids had cantaloupe, pancakes, milk, and sunflower seed cookies for dessert.

I love all of your lists, that Natalie has popcorn as # 1 is adorable.

Like blissbelly, coffee is a MUST, but I forgot until she reminded me...it's bumped pasta off my MPT.

Homemade Revolution contest is almost over...I've got lots of work to do counting ALL the tallie!

Popcorn is essential! It's the real biofuel.

I haven't been by in awhile, but your blog always inspires me to cook something. I don't know if I have a top 10, but you can always make something with beans, pasta, and tomato sauce on hand. I also like doing breakfast for dinner when I'm in a pinch, too, as I usually have eggs, bread and cheese around.
