white pizza - pizza blanca

Made a spelt flour crust which turned out perfectly crunchy and salty; made tomato less sauce by mixing 1/2 red onion, rough chopped; two cloves garlic, rough chopped; 3ish tblsp olive oil; and sea salt. Poured the mixture all over the crust, then added 1/4 cup of grated medium cheddar cheese + 1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese + ripped up 2 pre cut slices of mozzarella.

The perfume of garlic was alive everywhere, it was so delicious smelling, I honestly wished I could record the smell to share it with you. If you double click on the pic you get a larger version, maybe by having a closer look you can 'almost' smell the garlic heaven that was our house last night.

What's your favourite pizza style/toppings - the kind you'd stockpile if you were headed to a desert island?

Mmmm. That looks so good. I'm all for pineapple on pizza. Without the ham or canadian bacon as we call it here on pizzas. And I do not like tomato sauce on pizza. I prefer it white like yours there.

On my pizza?
I chop zucchini, basil, onions, garlic, and tomatoes and sprinkle with black pepper, mix in some olive oil and Parmesan cheese and a small amount of mozzarella... hmmmm... I think I know what to do for dinner tonight!

Amy, I know, I 'love, love pizza' too.

Jamie, interesting that you love it white; next time I post about pizza I'm going to focus on green just for you.

Natalie, isn't it a relief to know what's for dinner even before lunch is served?!
