KENSINGTON MARKET - FOODIE FIELD TRIP

Here is the photo essay of our field trip to Kensington Market.
As you can see it was a savoury adventure.

Instead of lots of words I'm going to leave you with these photos, and a quiz:

what did I snack on yesterday (hint: picture w/the banana). Your comment will get double points in the ongoing contest.

Mamacita! All that I have been missing. I finally figured out Google Reader, which alerts me when my favorite blogs have new posts. Well, it's taken me too long to realize that your posts were not appearing in the feed, or the reader or whatever. I can't profess to have it all figured out, but so far the Google Reader has been neat, well, except for missing a lot of your posts. Time for a cup of tea and some catching up.

Jamie, no, not a calzone, but you still get points for guessing.

Natalie, enjoy your cup of tea, and some me time. My contest promises lots of great things, maybe, just maybe a coffee maker, nah! XO

That food looks good-what is it?!

Tonight, Thursday: I made pasta with butter and herbs, peas and carrots, applesauce, milk or grape juice and I made popsicles out of orange juice blended with 2 bananas.

blissbelly, you are right! It's an empanada, a giant veggie one!

Plus, (in the bag) dried apricots and the cookie looking dessert is an 'alfajor'. More details about these foods to follow sometime next week.
